David Coulthard, British Grand Prix, Silverstone 23rd April 2000. The 2000 British Grand Prix, having been moved from it`s traditional July date, will be remembered for the extreme cold and wet conditions that threatened to spoil the crowds enjoyment of their ‘home’ grand prix. However, David Coulthard warmed the crowd when, in spite of the awful conditions throughout the race weekend, he came home to his second consecutive British Grand Prix victory, beating team-mate Mika Hakinnen and championship leader Michael Schumacher into second and third place respectively.
